North American hotel bookings through global distribution system channels in April increased by 5 percent year over year,
according to Pegasus Solutions. The average rate on those bookings declined 0.2 percent from the prior year. According to Pegasus CEO David Millili, corporate demand on a global basis in the coming months will "ease just below 2012 levels after a potential bump of around 4 percent in June."
