North American corporate airfares, hotel rates and meeting costs in 2011 generally will increase as rental and chauffeured car costs decrease, according to Carlson Wagonlit Travel

The travel management company this week issued its 2011 forecast, which predicted roughly 3 percent to 6 percent increases for domestic economy and international economy and business class airfares. U.S. and Canadian average daily hotel rates next year will increase about 6 percent and 5 percent, respectively, CWT projected.
