Hotel reservations for business travel for August 2012 through July 2013 are up 4.1 percent year over year,

according to TravelClick's North American Hospitality Review, which assesses booking data for 25 major North American markets. Average daily rates for those bookings are up 5 percent for business transient and by 2.2 percent for group business. Business travel booking windows also are increasing, according to TravelClick.
