Global corporate hotel rates stabilized during the first half of the year, according to an HRG
report. Based on industry data and actual rates paid by the travel management company's clients, HRG found a 1 percent difference in first-half 2012 rates versus the first six months last year. The average rate increased in 23 of the top 50 cities examined by HRG, declined in 24 cities and went unchanged in three. The strongest rate growth was in Latin America, while rates in Europe largely decreased or were flat.
