Committed hotel occupancy for the fourth quarter of 2012 is up 8 percent compared with last year,
and the average daily rate for those rooms increased 4.7 percent, according to TravelClick's August North American Hospitality Review. Committed transient occupancy is up 13.1 percent, while committed group occupancy is up 6.7 percent, according to the report.
