Accor named as senior vice president of global sales Carlo Olejniczak,
the hotel company's former vice president of global leisure sales. Olejniczak is responsible for "defining Accor's B-to-B sales strategy for all segments" and coordinating Accor's 34 sales offices worldwide. According to Accor, Olejniczak will "focus on implementing Accor's large-scale transformation projects in sales, namely the robust development of online distribution, the growing importance of emerging markets and the drive to become a key player in meetings and events." Olejniczak replaces Cédric Gobilliard, who was named Accor's senior vice president of sales and distribution for France. Gobilliard replaces Yves Lacheret, who was appointed Accor's senior vice president of business development for Europe, a new position. The three executives all report to Accor executive vice president of sales, distribution and loyalty Jean-Luc Chrétien.
