Travel management company Reed & Mackay has expanded its presence in the Middle East with a new office in Abu Dhabi, the company announced.
The Abu Dhabi office, which opened on Monday, is Reed & Mackay's second in the United Arab Emirates, complementing a Dubai office that opened in April 2016. The office is located in Masdar City, a planned city project under construction near Abu Dhabi International Airport that is powered entirely by solar and other renewable energy resources. The location will help Reed & Mackay expand its footprint in the finance, law and marine and offshore sectors, according to the TMC.
"We are seeing real momentum in the Middle East as Covid-19 restrictions relax and demand continues to grow," Reed & Mackay Group CEO Fred Stratford said in a statement.
With the opening of the Abu Dhabi office, Reed & Mackay is in 65 markets, including its recent expansion in Spain via its acquisition of Atlanta Agencia de Viajes. Reed & Mackay itself was acquired by TripActions last year.
