Multimodal travel booking platform Omio has expanded globally
the availability of its Omio Business platform, the company announced.
Omio Business, which was designed for small businesses and
individual travelers such as freelancers, launched earlier this year in the
U.K. and is now available globally. The company said it has seen
"promising demand" especially in Italy, Spain and the United States.
The platform lets travelers book flights, hotels, trains and
buses on a single platform, with VAT-compliant invoicing and a centralized
booking history, according to Omio.
The wider Omio platform in July announced
a $10 million investment to help expansion across Japan and Southeast Asia.
Its parent company Omio Group reached
an agreement to acquire Rail Europe in July as well.
