Latam has set May 1 as its departure date from the Oneworld alliance, the carrier announced on Friday. The departure will mark the end of Latam's frequent-flyer and reciprocal lounge access agreements with American Airlines, though several other individual Oneworld members will continue to maintain frequent-flyer agreements with Latam, according to Oneworld. Latam's codesharing with American is set to end on Feb. 1, and Latam expects to have reciprocal lounge access and frequent-flyer agreements with new partner Delta within the first half of this year.
