Latam on Feb. 1 will move its operations at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport from Terminal 8 to Terminal 4. The move is to facilitate easier transfers with Delta, with which Latam is building a joint business agreement. The carriers have received regulatory approvals for codeshares from United States and Colombia regulators and expects approval from Peru and Ecuador as well as the beginning of codesharing in the first half of this year. The carriers also expect to introduce mutual frequent-flyer benefits and bilateral lounge access within the first half of 2020. At JFK, Latam Premium Business and higher-tier Latam Pass members will have lounge access in Terminal 4 as of Feb. 1.
