2025 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $144M
Consolidated Global TMC: Amex GBT
Aerospace and defense contractor RTX spent $144 million on U.S.-booked air in 2025, a dip from the $187 million spent in 2024, but the company is on track to return close to 2024 levels this year.
For 2025, RTX reported nearly 126,600metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions related to business travel. That was a decline of 13.5 percent year over year. The company faced some travel restrictions due to internal cost curtailment during the year.
The company's net sales for 2025 totaled $88.6 billion, up from $80.7 billion in 2024. As of 2025, its workforce totaled 180,000 employees across 52 countries, with more than two-thirds of employees located in the United States.
The RTX travel team conducted requests for proposals for airline, hotel and car rental suppliers. The company also implemented a new visa passport service provider last year.
