Life sciences company, Danaher grew its U.S.-booked air volume in 2025 to $95 million. The biotechnology company continues to adjust its travel programs to optimize the booking process for corporate travelers.
Danaher utilized CWT for all domestic travel and nearly all international travel in 2025, prior to the acquisition in October of CWT by American Express Global Business Travel. About 5 percent of the company’s overall travel was booked through Ctrip, primarily for travel within China.
Danaher in 2025 made efforts to push AI strategies through its travel program. Currently, AI is involved in several areas of the booking process, including the use of virtual agents and chatbots, policy compliance and enforcement monitoring, targeted booking recommendations and understanding travelers’ personal preferences based on past bookings. AI is also aiding travel servicing after bookings are made.
Danaher plans continued work to maximize ROI on travel spend, as well as stronger spend controls.
