Aircraft manufacturer and aerospace company Airbus touches down in the Corporate Travel 100 after a three-year absence with a BTN-estimated 2025 U.S.-booked air volume of $43 million.
The company's 2025 revenue totaled €73.4 billion, up 6 percent year over year. Airbus last year delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers, up from 766 in 2024.
Airbus at year-end 2025 had nearly 165,300 employees, up more than 5 percent year over year. More than 7,500 of them were in the United States, where Airbus has 40 facilities including aircraft manufacturing operations in Mobile, Ala. The company spends $15 billion annually in the U.S. with more than 2,000 suppliers.
Airbus in 2025 reached an agreement with the Lufthansa Group to purchase the carrier's "Sustainable Corporate Value Fare" for employee domestic business travel in Germany. The fare funds the introduction of sustainable aviation fuel into Lufthansa's operations sufficient to address up to 30 percent of the calculated emissions associated with each trip.
The company also has reached deals to procure SAF certificates for its business travel with Air France-KLM, British Airways, Iberia, Volotea, Air Corsica and EasyJet.
