Having made its debut on BTN’s Corporate Travel 100 last year, Mayo Clinic retains its place in the report with 2024 U.S.-booked air volume of $36.5 million, according to a BTN estimate.
The medical organization added 13,000 employees in 2024, taking total staff to nearly 83,000, while the expansion of its Phoenix campus, announced in early 2025, will generate a further 3,500 new jobs.
Its revenue in 2024 was $19.8 billion, up from $17.9 billion in 2023 and $16.3 billion in 2022.
The company is committed to reducing its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50 percent by 2032 but does not report publicly on its Scope 3 emissions—which include business travel—nor has it declared any Scope 3 reduction goals.
