million U.S.-booked air volume in 2024, consistent with the prior year. The
Foster City, Calif.-based
biopharmaceutical company reported 2024 revenue of $28.8 billion, up 6 percent
from 2023, with 17,600 employees globally.
The
company focused on streamlining operations through automation, AI-powered
telephony, and chatbot deployment. It also rolled out a modernized travel and
expense policy. In 2024, Gilead completed the full launch of BCD Travel and BCD
Meetings & Events services, while integrating Concur with Cvent to create a
unified meetings management platform. The program implemented off-channel data
capture technology alongside hotel and airline reshopping capabilities. Gilead achieved 87 percent
adoption of its online booking tool, with more than 80 percent
of transactions completed without agent support.
The
company committed to achieving net-zero operational greenhouse gas emissions by
2030 and reducing Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 46 percent from a 2019
baseline. Gilead plans additional policy updates
focused on safety, security, immigration
and payment solutions.
