2024 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $65 million

Defense contractor and aerospace firm General Dynamics is returning
to the CT100 list after
a two-year absence with an estimated $65 million in U.S.-booked air volume for
2024.
The firm reported 56,881 metric tons of carbon emissions related to
business travel for 2024 in its annual sustainability report. A year-over-year
comparison is not available, as General Dynamics did not report Scope 3
emissions, which include business travel, in its 2023 sustainability report.
General Dynamics reported $47.7 billion
in revenue in 2024, up 12.9 percent year over year, and both revenue and
operating earnings were up year over year in all four of the firm's business
segments: aerospace, marine systems, combat systems
and technologies. The firm reported about 117,000 employees as of the end of
2024.
About 70 percent of General Dynamics' consolidated
revenue came from the U.S. government as of 2024, and the company has reported
continued revenue growth in the first two quarters of this year.
