manufacturer Caterpillar spent $65 million on U.S.-booked air travel in 2024.
The company reported $64.8 billion
in sales and revenues for 2024, a decline of 3.4 percent year over year, and a
total employee headcount of 112,900, down from 113,200 at the end of 2023. Like
many companies in the manufacturing industry, Caterpillar is facing significant
cost pressure from
U.S. tariff policies this year, with estimates
that they will cost the company about $1.5 billion
in total this year.

company in 2024.
