2024 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $108 million
Consolidated U.S. TMC: BCD
ExxonMobil reported $33.7
billion in earnings in 2024, while global
headcount declined slightly to 61,000,
down from 62,000 the prior year. Business travel volume is still well below
pre-pandemic levels, with U.S.-booked air spend estimated to be under half of
2019 figures. The company’s travel program continues to use Emburse for expense management and formerly used
Tripbam, now part of the Emburse portfolio, for rebooking, auditing
and benchmarking functions.
ExxonMobil significantly
expanded production in its two key growth
regions—Guyana and the Permian Basin—in 2024. Net production rose to 4.3
million oil-equivalent barrels per day, an increase of 595,000 barrels per day
over the prior year, driven largely by
ramp-ups in those areas following the company’s $60 billion
acquisition of Pioneer Natural Resources, completed in May 2024.
