Financial media and software organization Bloomberg held
U.S.-booked air volume steady in 2024 at $60 million compared
with the previous year.
The company, which reports more than 26,000 employees across 159
locations globally, conducted a request for information for travel management
companies in 2024 along with a hotel request for proposals.
BCD Travel serves as Bloomberg's consolidated
TMC globally.
This year, Bloomberg has a heavy focus on integrating AI into its
travel program. The company uses AI for a variety of travel functions,
including managing data, supporting internal travel communications
and auditing expense reports.
Bloomberg uses Concur as an online booking tool globally, and in
2024, 87 percent of air bookings
in the U.S. went through the online booking tool.
The company did not make any changes to its travel policy in 2024,
though it is reviewing its policy for potential changes this year. Bloomberg operates
under a single travel policy globally.
