Carlson Hotels To Offer PlanSoft TechCarlson Hotels Worldwide recently announced that Twinsburg, Ohio-based meetings technology firm PlanSoft by September will implement online meeting services options for each of its five brands, including Radisson Hotels & Resorts. The suite of products is expected to include PlanSoft's online request for proposal capabilities, its property search engine and links to local suppliers and CVBs.
Wyndham Offers Lone Star RewardsWyndham International last month tweaked its Meeting Rewards planner incentive program to offer additional benefits for events booked at one of nine Texas properties on specific dates. The program offers a choice of a variety of enticements, including credit applied to the event, frequent flyer miles, charitable donations and the use of meeting software, on a sliding scale based upon the value of the meeting. Wyndham devised the program after it polled 265 meeting planners and found most prefer discounts and group-related incentives over personal benefits. The Texas program is the second variation of Meeting Rewards that Wyndham has introduced in as many months, following the June launch of midprice Summerfield Suites' program,
(Meetings Today, July 19).Reg Tool Bolstered To Boost SecurityNew York-based attendee management tech firm eRSVP last month upgraded its Max registration software to more accurately authenticate credit card transactions, permit charging service fees and allow attendees to review and update previously submitted registration information. The revision is the first made to the Max product since its October 2003 debut.
