United Airlines during the next year will install Wi-Fi and personal entertainment device service on more than 200 two-cabin United Express regional jets,
the carrier announced on Wednesday. United through the summer of
2015 will outfit E170, E175 and CRJ700 aircraft with Gogo air-to-ground Wi-Fi
service, with the service first appearing on the aircraft later this year.
Early next year, United also plans to install personal entertainment device
service, through which travelers can watch movies and television shows on their
mobile devices and laptops.
