Total transatlantic flights are up 6 percent this month versus Oct 2005
, including double-digit percentage capacity increases from New York JFK and Atlanta, according to OAG. The travel information company reported "noticeably lower" numbers of flights between North America and both London Heathrow and London Gatwick; "slight" transatlantic capacity growth at Frankfurt, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol; and "significant increases" between North America and Madrid, Milan and Rome.
