The Air Transport Association of America again criticized the Transportation Security Administration's plan

for a nationwide registered traveler program. "Nothing ... suggests that continued pursuit of the program would be sensible," ATA wrote in response to draft standards TSA issued last month. ATA questioned the use of available resources, cited privacy concerns and referred to "unacceptable and unnecessary" risk.
