Oneworld alliance partners American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia launched a joint venture and announced plans for new transatlantic services

Those services would include AA flights between New York JFK and Budapest, and between Chicago and Helsinki; Iberia flights between Madrid and Los Angeles; and BA flights between London Heathrow and San Diego. "Our corporate customers will also benefit from integrated account managementacross the three airlines with the aim of reducing duplication and complexity," according to BA chief executive Willie Walsh. However, some U.K.-based corporate travel managers told Business Travel Newsthat they refused to sign confidentiality-clause waiversrequested by BA so the carrier could share details of their contracts with AA and Iberia.
