Year-over-year declines were larger within the United States, including those for American (7.1 percent), Delta (4.2 percent), United (3.9 percent) and Southwest (2.1 percent). Bucking the trend were US Airways (up 2.6 percent in the United Stated and 2 percent systemwide) and Alaska (up 5.1 percent systemwide). By comparison, Air France and IAG (British Airways and Iberia combined) reported higher traffic across the Atlantic, up 1.5 percent and 6.9 percent, respectively.
