KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced that from December it will offer an enhanced economy product on "all" intercontinental flights

. Located at the front of the economy cabin, the new seats will include more legroom and reclining back supports. The additional cost for the new seats will vary by flight distance but won't be imposed on travelers in the highest tier of the carrier's loyalty program or passengers purchasing unrestricted fares.
