Gogo signed an agreement with satellite services provider Intelsat S.A. "to offer customers in-flight Internet access for transoceanic air routes

and other areas around the globe starting in early 2013," the companies announced. The satellites under the agreement cover "portions of the Atlantic and northern Pacific oceans, as well as routes over South America, Asia, Africa and Australia," according to Gogo, whose air-to-ground network has gained traction with many of the largest North American airlines.
