Delta Air Lines in November for a third consecutive month was the most punctual major U.S. airline,

with an on-time arrival rate of 87.5 percent, according to FlightStats. It was followed by Alaska Airlines (87.1 percent) and US Airways (86.1 percent). At 80.1 percent, Southwest Airlines had the lowest on-time performance among U.S. majors. Across all of North America, airlines operated 83.4 percent of all flights within 15 minutes of schedule, led by Hawaiian Airlines at 93 percent.
