Canada's Porter Airlines this week opened a lounge at Newark International available to "every Porter passenger,"
according to the carrier. Unlike most airport lounges that are reserved for premium passengers and frequent flyers, Porter's first U.S. lounge offers "comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, cold beverages, specialty coffees and snacks." The carrier operates up to 13 daily roundtrips between Newark and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on "one of the airline's busiest routes."
