Alaska Airlines in February was the most punctual major North American airline,

with more than 90 percent of its flights arriving at the gate within 15 minutes of schedule, according to FlightStats. Air Canada had the lowest on-time ratio of the group at 59 percent. Among all the region's carriers, Alaska Air Group subsidiary Horizon Air ranked first at 93 percent. The aggregate on-time performance for all North American carriers was 79 percent, with better-than-average ratios for Delta (86 percent), Southwest (86 percent), US Airways (83 percent), United (82 percent) and American (80 percent).
