as nearly 89 percent of its flights arrived at the gate within 15 minutes of schedule, according to FlightStats. US Airways (83.7 percent) and Delta Air Lines (83.6 percent) followed. North American airlines on average landed nearly 75 percent of their flights on time in August, with American Airlines, JetBlue Airways, United Airlines and Air Canada posting below-average performance.
