Sabre's GetThere and TripCase units teamed up to offer, by the third quarter, mobile solutions to GetThere clients
. Sabre announced that GetThere would provide clients with traveler messaging as well as TripCase's existing, English-language mobile services including itinerary forwarding, sharing and synchronization; flight alerts and status; and gate and baggage locations. TripCase is available for Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile. Sabre also said this year it would enable automatic passenger name record synchronization with other global distribution systems. Travelers using the Sabre GDS already enjoy automated updates, while bookings made in other GDSs or Web sites can be synchronized when the traveler forwards his or her email confirmation to TripCase.
