Eurostar reported record passenger volume and ticket sales for 2007

Rail operator . Total passengers increased 5 percent to 8.26 million and sales rose 15.5 percent to £599 million (US$1.2 billion). Business travel ticket sales grew by 12 percent. Since opening a high-speed line on 14 November from London's St. Pancras International, Eurostar saw ticket sales jump 20 percent. The company also noted a 20 percent ticket sales increase in countries other than core markets in the United Kingdom, France and Belgium.
