CWT Buys Out Irish Partner

Carlson Wagonlit Travel today announced the acquisition of Executive Travel Group, its Irish travel management company partner. CWT claims the agency handles €37.5 million annually.

Dublin-based Executive Travel Group, a CWT partner since 1994, also operates business travel centers in Cork and Limerick.

Managing director Arthur Harrow will continue to lead CWT Ireland, now reporting to CWT executive vice president of United Kingdom and Ireland Andrew Waller.

CWT in the past year has completed several targeted acquisitions, including buys in Italy, Spain, and Sweden, to close ownership gaps in its network in Europe.
