The average one-way domestic U.S. airfare paid by American Express Global Business Travel clients during the second quarter increased 9 percent year over year to $260.
The average one-way international airfare paid
by Amex clients jumped 9 percent to $1,970. The travel management company noted
that "the year-to-date average fare increase has slowed the last two
months, however, suggesting that fares may be stabilizing."
