Meanwhile, new mobile apps due out in the next few weeks for the Android, iOS and Windows Mobile platforms will support all the "functionality that we've been offering in the SMS text messaging world, but via an app interface versus pure SMS," conTgo co-founder and chief strategy officer Johnny Thorsen said. SMS support would continue in cases where a data connection to the apps is not available.
