The Biden administration will extend the face covering requirement for passengers on airplanes, trains and buses or in airports or train stations into next year, according to Reuters. The U.S. Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told U.S. airlines during a Tuesday call that the requirement, currently set to expire on Sept. 13, will be extended through Jan. 18, according to Reuters which cited three unnamed sources. Neither the TSA nor the CDC commented publicly on the extension, according to Reuters.
