Uber has been transporting health-care workers to and from Covid-19patients' homes, as well as between healthcare facilities, according to the company. Uber said it has partnered with U.S. healthcare union 1199SEIU to help bring members to healthcare facilities, and has been working in Europe and Latin America with public authorities to offer healthcare workers rides between hospitals and their homes. The transportation network company said it is exploring options to expand this service to other countries. Uber also is committing 300,000 free meals on Uber Eats to first responders and healthcare workers in the U.S. and Canada, and 25,000 in Australia and New Zealand.
