On Friday, Uber shares debuted on the New York Stock
Exchange. It expects its IPO to close on Tuesday. Uber priced its 180 million
shares at $45 per share, raising about $8.1 billion. The pricing comes at the
lower end of Uber's expected range. Following rival Lyft's IPO at $72 per share, Lyft stock was trading on Friday at just over
$51 per share. According to Reuters, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the
performance of Lyft's stock led Uber to be more conservative with its IPO.
