Longtime Dav El/BostonCoach president and CEO Scott Solombrino is stepping down from his position. He has led Dav El since buying the business from founder David Klein in 1987. Solombrino had founded Dav El affiliate Fifth Avenue Limousine Company of Boston in 1978. BostonCoach parent company Marcou Transportation Group acquired Dav El in 2014 and put Solombrino in charge of the combined companies. Solombrino plans to continue as a ground transportation industry advocate, including through his role as Global Business Travel Association Allied Leadership Council president, as well as board secretary of the National Limousine Association, which he co-founded. Dav El/BostonCoach has not named a successor.
