Chauffeured transportation platform Blacklane and security-identity company Clear in early April will begin to offer a what the companies called a premium joint airport offering, Blacklane announced Wednesday.
Blacklane customers using the new combined service will be met at the airport curb for Clear's Concierge service, which will be offered "at a preferred rate," according to Blacklane. Clear Concierge, which typically starts at $99, includes a curbside meeting, help with bags and check-in, expedited security and post-security tips for lounges, dining and the fastest route to the gate, according to Clear's website.
"We will work together on an integration based on guest and corporate travel booker feedback, with the goal for it to be a seamless booking process within Blacklane's existing booking platforms," according to Blacklane.
The rollout will begin with "select Blacklane guests and Clear-plus members, and then [will be more] widely available later this year," according to a Blacklane spokesperson, who added that the pricing details will be disclosed when the larger rollout occurs.
