Amtrak has updated its mobile app to improve booking
capabilities. It can save credit card information within the app, and travelers
can edit their profiles there, including adding discounts, coupons and vouchers.
App users also can buy parking when buying tickets. Other new features include
the ability to book travel with Amtrak Guest Rewards points within the app and
the availability on the app of Auto Train tickets, Amtrak's Washington, D.C.-Orlando
service on which passengers can travel with their vehicles.
