Amtrak now offers a single-visit pass for its Metropolitan Lounge network, the railroad operator announced Tuesday.
The pass costs $35 at most of Amtrak's stations with Metropolitan lounges, except for Moynihan Train Hall at New York Penn Station, where it is $50. Amtrak Guest Rewards customers also can redeem 1,500 points for a single day pass.
Metropolitan lounges offer complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and free Wi-Fi. Staff also are on hand to assist with reservations, ticketing and local information, according to Amtrak. Complimentary conference rooms are available at select locations on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lounge access remains free for Amtrak Guest Rewards Select Executive and Select Plus members, Acela first-class passengers and private-room customers ticketed for same-day travel.
