Icelandic low-cost carrier Wow Air appointed former Spirit Airlines CEO Ben Baldanza to its board. Wow founder and CEO Skúli Mogensen said the carrier seeks to expand service to North America and Europe. The carrier will add service to Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco and the United Kingdom's Bristol and Edinburgh this year. Baldanza, who served as Spirit's CEO for about a decade, stepped down this year.
