Over the next few months, WestJet is adding three executives
to its senior leadership team as the carriers expands its global network.
- On Feb. 19, Gandeephan Ganeshalingam will join
as VP of lean and continuous improvement. Ganeshalingam recently was chief
innovation officer for GE Canada, where he worked with WestJet to improve
dispatch reliability for its Boeing 767s.
- On Jan. 29, Stuart McDonald will join as VP and
chief technology officer. McDonald recently was VP of strategic initiatives and
employee enablement at TD Bank and spent two years leading enterprise programs
at Cathay Pacific.
- Earlier this month, Scott Groh joined as VP of
crew resources, coming from a similar role at Qatar Airways.
