United Airlines has added more than 3,000 Covid-19 testing sites at Walmart and Albertson Companies locations for booking through its Travel-Ready Center, the carrier announced.
Passengers now can book testing appointments at the sites through United's website or app, and results are delivered through the site or app four to 48 hours after testing. The platform will notify passengers that they are "travel-ready" when the testing and other destination requirements are completed.
The new locations bring the total number of testing providers available through the Travel Ready Center to more than 3,800. United reports that its platforms have processed about 3.3 million test results, destination entry forms and vaccination records to date.
