Ukraine International Airlines president Yuri Miroshnikov is
stepping down from his position on Thursday as his contract expires.
Miroshnikov, who then will join the carrier's board, has managed the carrier
for the past 15 years, over which time it grew from eight aircraft and 640,000
annual passengers to 42 aircraft and 8 million annual passengers. On Sept. 18,
Yevhenii Dykhne, most recently the first deputy CEO of Boryspil International
Airport State Enterprise, will take over as president.
