Kazakhstan's national carrier, Air Astana, will launch a low-cost carrier, FlyArystan, next year. The new carrier will begin with a fleet of four A320 aircraft with 180 economy class seats, and Air Astana plans to increase that to 15 aircraft by 2022. It will begin with largely domestic routes and later expend to regional international routes. Fares will be about half those of Air Astana.
