March 2026 Announcements
For the week ending March 27
JetBlue on July 8 will launch daily service between Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Cleveland, the carrier announced March 26. JetBlue also announced increased frequencies to begin July 9 for nine other Fort Lauderdale-based routes, including flights to each Atlanta, Newark, Las Vegas and Philadelphia.
Air India has launched new service between Delhi and Rome, the carrier announced March 26. The nonstop route will operate four times weekly. Rome is Air India's eighth gateway in mainland Europe and the second destination in Italy, along with Milan.
Delta Air Lines has further extended its suspension of New York JFK-Tel Aviv and Atlanta-Tel Aviv flights through Sept. 5, and Boston-Tel Aviv service is delayed until further notice, the carrier announced March 25. Delta initially had planned to launch the Boston flights in October.
For the week ending March 20
Delta Air Lines on Nov. 9 will launch nonstop service between Austin, Texas, and Phoenix, the carrier announced March 20. Flights will operate twice daily with Embraer 175 aircraft. In addition, Delta has extended its suspension of New York JFK-Tel Aviv flights through May 31 for the eastbound route and June 1 for the westbound route, the carrier announced March 18. It also has delayed the restart of Atlanta-Tel Aviv service until Aug. 4 for the eastbound flights and Aug. 5 for westbound flights. Boston-Tel Aviv service is scheduled to launch Oct. 24.
Turkish Airlines has launched service between Istanbul and London Stansted, the carrier announced March 18. Flights operate 15 times weekly. Stansted is the carrier's third London gateway, following Heathrow and Gatwick.
British Airways on Jan. 9, 2027, will launch flights between London Heathrow and Melbourne, Australia, via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the carrier announced March 16. Flights will operate year-round. On Oct. 23, the carrier also will launch flights between London Gatwick and Colombo, Sri Lanka. The route will operate three times weekly for the winter season.
For the week ending March 6
China Eastern Airlines on June 22 will begin flights between Shanghai and Stockholm, Swedavia Airports announced March 6. The route will operate three times weekly. The carrier also between June 20 and Aug. 2 will operate flights between Shanghai and Adelaide, Australia, and on April 20 begin operations between Xi-an and Vienna, Austria, China Eastern Airlines announced March 2
Lufthansa on Oct. 25 will relaunch year-round nonstop flights between Frankfurt and Kuala Lumpur, the carrier announced March 4. The route, dormant since 2016, will be operated five times weekly with Boeing 787-9 aircraft configured with 287 seats in three cabins, including Lufthansa's Allegris product.
Latam on March 30 will begin flights between Amsterdam and São Paulo, Brazil, the carrier announced March 3. The route will operate four times weekly to start, then increase on April 18 to six times weekly, with Boeing 787-9 aircraft configured with 30 business-class seats and 270 in economy.
