Lot Polish Airlines has ordered 20 Airbus A220-100 and 20 A220-300 aircraft, the carrier and aircraft manufacturer announced Monday. Airbus added that this is the carrier's first order from the company for its "fleet modernization."
The agreement includes options for another 44 planes. Deliveries are projected to begin in 2027. The Airbus A220 has capacity for 100 to 160 passengers, depending on the version, according to Lot, and "will be able to serve all connections within Lot Polish Airlines' European flight network."
